Lulu Mohamed

Lulu Mohamed is a Senior Clinical Audiologist and Hearing Therapist. She completed her Undergraduate degree in Medical Genetics at Queen Mary University of London, she then went on to complete a Masters in Mental Health and Psychological Therapies. She completed an additional Masters in Audiology at University College, London (UCL). Lulu has 9 years’ experience working in the field of audiology both in the NHS and privately. She is particularly interested in Hearing Therapy and the management of Tinnitus and Hyperacusis. Lulu is passionate about improving people’s quality of life through better hearing and improved overall communication.

Lerissa Pillay

Lerissa is a passionate and dual-qualified Senior Audiologist and Speech and Language Therapist, who graduated from the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa. In addition to her wealth of international experience she has also worked in both the NHS and private practice in the UK. She has a keen interest in hearing/cochlear implants and finds immense fulfilment in helping adults, children and their families navigate the world of hearing and communication.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Lerissa finds joy in exploring the world through travel and is sometimes referred to as a ‘shopaholic’. During your appointment, don’t hesitate to share your travel tips or swap shopping secrets – Lerissa is always eager to connect on a personal level.

Nadia Abbott

Nadia completed her dual degree in Speech-Language Therapy and Audiology at the University of Pretoria in South Africa in 2010.  She has worked in both fields in private practice but has recently worked mainly in audiology where she has a passion for working with her patients to improve their quality of life with better hearing.  She also has a special interest in Auditory Processing Disorders (APD) and strives to help more people overcome this with proper diagnosis and treatment.  Her first language is Afrikaans and she will be able to conduct any appointment in Afrikaans.  She also has a dog named Emma who joined her in the UK from South Africa who only understands Afrikaans.

Roisin Hynes

Roisin graduated with first class honours from a masters in audiology in University College Cork in Ireland. She has a keen interest in paediatric audiology after first graduating from a degree in early years and childhood studies. She is also particularly interest in both vestibular diagnostics and rehabilitation.

Roisin has worked in a private clinic in Ireland before moving over to London. Roisin is dedicated to providing the best quality patient care and audiological services.

Barathy Ganeshakumaran

Barathy is a clinical audiologist. She has a master’s degree in audiology at University College London (UCL) after completing her undergraduate degree in biomedical sciences. Barathy has a wealth of experience in audiology after working in the NHS and is now a member of the team at Harley Street Hearing. Barathy has a keen interest in  hearing aid technology and rehabilitation, and providing the best care for all her patients. She also speaks Tamil. 

Rokhsar Nimat

Rokhsar is a dedicated, compassionate audiologist with 5+ years of clinical experience. She is adept in diagnosing and managing hearing impairment across all age groups. Rokhsar has an empathetic and professional attitude, and is committed to providing patients with the best care possible.

Matt Frost

Matt initially joined the team in 2019 after graduating from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama with a degree in orchestral percussion. He served as a Practice Assistant at Harley Street Hearing for three years while studying Audiology at Anglia Ruskin University alongside his work.

Matt’s own bilateral hearing loss since his teenage years has shaped and deepened both his studies and patient-centred practice. In addition to his work, he sits on the British Academy of Audiology’s Equality and Diversity Committee and is engaged in ongoing research on the audiological treatment and support of musicians.

Emer McKenna

Emer graduated with a first-class honours degree from the MSc Audiology programme in University College Cork. Prior to her audiology career, she gained a BA in Early Years and Childhood Studies and spent three years working as a Primary School teacher in Dubai. Throughout her master’s, she spent time developing her skills in both public and private practices and she is qualified to deliver diagnostic and rehabilitative care to both adult and paediatric populations.

Prior to joining Harley Street Hearing Emer worked at an independent private clinic in Dublin. She has extensive experience in dementia care, tinnitus management and hearing loss caused by ototoxic medications. Her main objective throughout her work is enhancing quality of life for both her patients and their loved ones.

Victoria Lee-Nichols

Victoria Lee-Nichols is our practice manager and has over thirteen years experience within the private medical industry, with six of those spent in the cosmetics sector on Harley Street, as the clinical manager and theatre manager, and four years running a private chiropractic centre in Surrey.  

 

Claire Martin

Claire Martin Assistant Practice Manager

Claire Martin is one of our assistant practice managers, Claire joined the admin team in early 2017. Having worked for 15 years in the recruitment sector with a key focus on client relations, Claire has always thrived in a busy working environment where the main objective is to provide excellent customer services. She has become a valued member of our busy office and it will often be Claire who you will speak to when you call.
