Wearing hearing protection when participating in any shooting activity, whether as a profession or as part of a hobby, is absolutely essential for protecting the auditory system.
A gunshot creates a sound in excess of 120 dB and is therefore as loud as a jet engine taking off. This level of sound can permanently damage your hearing, perforate your eardrums, or cause distressing noise-induced tinnitus and acoustic trauma in milliseconds – and it only takes one shot for that to happen.
Harley Street Hearing can offer a range of custom-made earplugs designed to protect against the sudden, loud noise of shooting without altering sound perception or awareness.

Passive shooting earplugs
Filtered passive shooting hearing protection uses values and filters to instantly reduce the intensity of gunshot sounds without the use of digital suppression software. They are a cost-effective option for consistent, reliable protection against the harmful noises of shooting and are ideal for sportsmen, police firearm officers or army personnel.
Harley Street Hearing offers luxury custom-fit Sonic Valves that protect your ears when you need it the most, allowing you to hear normally without removing them when there are no gunshots around.
We offer two main types of passive ear protection, available in a variety of colours and combinations with the option to personalise with logos or images.
These earplugs can be upgraded to full CENS® ProFlex digital by purchasing the electronic module at a later date, allowing you to spread the cost of the earplugs and modules over time.
NoiseBreakers do not interfere with the barrel of the gun, or any glasses or headgear. They can be comfortably worn all day and do not over-isolate – the in-built filter allows speech frequency sounds through, thus allowing instructions and warnings to be heard.
