Niharika joined Harley Street Hearing in June 2026 as a Clinical Audiologist. She is HCPC-registered and graduated from De Montfort University with a First Class Honours degree in Healthcare Science (Audiology). During her studies, she was recognised for achieving the highest final-year research project mark within her graduating cohort.
Throughout her training, she gained experience across a broad range of audiological services, including comprehensive hearing assessments, hearing aid fittings, hearing rehabilitation, speech testing and earwax management. She is also trained in both microsuction and aural irrigation earwax removal techniques.
Her clinical experience has enabled her to develop a strong patient-centred approach, combining strong diagnostic skills with a passion for delivering personalised hearing care. She is committed to continuous professional development and enjoys expanding her knowledge across all areas of audiology while helping patients achieve the very best hearing outcomes.

Dedicated to continuous professional development, she regularly engages in training opportunities to broaden her knowledge across all areas of audiology. Throughout her degree and early career, she attended educational events, manufacturer-led training sessions and professional development programmes focused on advancements in hearing healthcare and hearing aid technology.
She also attended the Hear Here 2026 event hosted by Harley Street Hearing at EY Canary Wharf, which provided valuable insight into the future of hearing healthcare and innovation within the industry.
Research and Publications
As part of her degree at De Montfort University, she completed a final-year research project exploring hearing loss stigma and its impact on older adults with age-related hearing loss, achieving the highest project mark within her graduating cohort.
The project examined the social, emotional and psychological effects of hearing loss stigma and how these factors can influence an individual’s confidence, communication and willingness to seek support. This experience strengthened her understanding of patient-centred care, evidence-based practice and the importance of addressing both the clinical and personal aspects of hearing healthcare.
As her career progresses, she looks forward to contributing to future clinical and research initiatives within the field of audiology.
Why Audiology?
She chose audiology because it is a profession that offers the opportunity to make an immediate and meaningful difference to people’s lives. Recognising the vital role hearing plays in communication and connection, she was drawn to helping individuals regain confidence, independence and enjoyment in their everyday lives.
With a longstanding fascination for sound, music and the science behind hearing, it was ultimately the human aspect of the profession that inspired her to pursue a career in audiology. She enjoys building genuine relationships with patients, understanding their individual experiences and supporting them in finding solutions tailored to their needs.
What she finds most rewarding about audiology is that every patient is unique. Combining clinical expertise, evolving technology and compassionate care to improve quality of life makes the profession immensely fulfilling, and she considers it a privilege to be part of each patient’s hearing journey.
