Paul Checkley

Paul has over 25 years experience in diagnostic and rehabilitative clinical audiology and is currently one of the Partners at Harley Street Hearing, London. He specialises in the fitting, fine tuning of hearing instrument technology, audiological rehabilitation and hearing protection.

Previously, he has had 15 years experience within the NHS as a Clinical Scientist (audiology) at the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital in London, involved in clinical research and provision of scientific input to the Adult Audiological Rehabilitation team. He lectured to MSc level at University College, London in audiological science and audiological medicine.

He gained international experience working in a management role at the Swiss Headquarters of a world-leading hearing instrument manufacturer. Here he was involved in field study coordination, International product application and paediatric fitting concepts.

Paul is a member of the British Academy of Audiology and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. He has sat on the council for the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists and currently sits on the Medical Committee of the British Association for Performing Arts Medicine.
