” Last year I experienced several instances of frightening and concerning paroxysm of dizziness. I saw an ENT Consultant who suggested  an audiologist specialising in Balance issues at Harley Street Hearing where I had for a number of years been getting treatment and hearing aids for my loss of hearing. It was a very fortunate and rewarding recommendation for which I am so thankful.

The audiologist spent nearly four hours and carried out a host of complicated and demanding tests. They finally showed the problem which was an impairment of the vestibule. To get a diagnosis enabled her to find it’s treatment and she suggested that Rehabilitation was the way forward and proceeded with teaching me several exercises to be done at home.

I am currently carrying out all her advice and see their noticeable benefits and I am hopeful that I would be trained to manage to live an independent life.  I am very impressed with the audiologist’s vast knowledge of this illness, her expertise in treating it, her professional conduct of the situation and most importantly, her empathy with and understanding the emotional trauma of the patient. She has been a great support to me at this time of need and I cannot thank her enough.”  Frou S
