Diagnostic Testing
Pure Tone Audiometry
You will be seen by a clinical audiologist who specialises in the assessment and management of hearing issues. During the appointment, a series of clinical observations and tests will be conducted.

Using an otoscope, we will examine your ear canal health. They will ensure the canal is free from occluding wax or debris and check the physical appearance of the tympanic membrane (eardrum).
Pure tone audiometry is performed while you sit in a soundproof booth wearing headphones. We will play a range of tones at different volume levels into one ear at a time. Your hearing thresholds will be determined based on your responses.
Tympanometry
